It rained the past few days so I didn’t go upstairs.

While I wasn’t loking

lots of things happened

The scarlet runners that the girls planted are in bloom

There is a bud on my gogosar

some tiny tomatoes

and the raspberries are growing (although the leaves have a problem)

.

this is the soundtrack

Harvest time!

They were small, they were not too sweet

and only two gardeners were in the city this Memorial Day weekend.

Still it’s official! The gardening club had its first harvest!

.Many more! Actually the scarlet runners (beans) on the roof are preparing its first flowers

.

Calling all gardeners!

While you slept, 3 strawberries you planted are ripening for you! Latest possible day for pick up – Saturday! Make it celebratory!

Also, not that cooler weather allowed plants to perk up, here are the scarlet runners you planted as beans only a month ago

.one of them is already on the fence

.also, everything you planted in the garden is doing well

And a good thing it is! It’s 90 degrees out there – on a day like this all we want is to be left alone!

As it happens, yesterday I wasn’t able to harvest my own alpine strawberry seeds. By the time I arrived to the garden, early morning, little plastic box in hand, the pretty strawberry I had photographed the day before was gone.

As it happens, I also ordered seeds and they came today – so my preparations weren’t wasted, I started them today.

Also, in the garden there were some Green Thumb seedlings – way bigger than mine. I took 4 tomatoes and planted them on the roof. It remains to be seen what kind of tomatoes they are.

Today was a cloudy, cooler day, good for planting and transplanting.

In the garden, a wild strawberry is ripening. Tomorrow I shall eat it and harvest the seeds which I’ll immediately plant

Upstairs, one of the wineberries saplings I planted there will produce fruit
