heat is gone, rains again – gardens thrive
August 13, 2008 by witchsball
Morning glories are blossoming daily
The watermellon is growing – I think a new one showed up today
the miracle raspberry that I revived from dead is growing like crazy
and even one of the giant tomatoes I had given up on rewarded me with a fruit
In Dias y Flores the digging is stalled, but the garden seems to burst over the fence, but on my plot eberything is growing great

You better put a sign on it so it doesn’t get taken, and left to ripen on someone’s window sill.
Did you ever find out why the leaves were turning yellow?
I have no luck with tomatoes. I can’t even guess what the problem is.. My knock out roses developed some kind of fungus after their first bloom. I bought some fungus remedy at Lowes. They have a 5″ thick gardening book there with every sort of disease and remedy for vegetable and flower problem. I told the clerk what I was looking for and he asked me how did I know what to buy..I told him I saw the remedy in their book. He said, Gee, no-one ever goes to the gardening book, they usually just ask me, but I’m a transplant (joke) from the Carpeting dept.!
RV, you should put a sign on that tomato saying: “smile, you’re on candid camera!” 😆
and…you wanted to know about the piggies?
