I originally started it as “Seen and heard ay Dias y Flores” – with the intention of being an information tool for the members of that garden. I increasingly wanted to hear less and less and when compost was thrown over my plants – I took refuge on my roof – saving some of the plants there.
I renamed the blog “Upstairs, Downstairs” for my dual home in the garden.
And then someone of the roof yanked my morning glories from the roots/fence – so, ironically, I have to save a plant by moving it in the garden.
At that point I decided to change my whole view of garden as ‘home” – and realize i wasn’t safe anywhere and best to just keep moving. Just enjoy the brief moments of peac between destruction. hence the new name – Guerilla Gardening
Oh, boy…I would have been really upset about that. I would have gone to Kinkos and run off 100 copies of a picture of the stolen tomatoes and posted a “Wanted- Reward” poster of the culprit who ripped up my ‘am’ glorys and stole my tomatoes!
An interesting blog. It appears by viewing some pictures you live in a city, and that grilling out is as fun for you as it is for my family. Enjoyed your blog. Keep up the good work.
